Scheduling in Block Sessions

Kinni Valley Riding Academy, LLC, offers group lessons in session blocks of seven weeks. It is our experience that due to busy schedules and illness, students may miss an appointment. During each session block students are able to miss one lesson and receive a half lesson deduction from their next session fee.

Although we hope that students are able to attend each lesson, for your own safety, as well as for the health of the other students and instructors, please do not come to lessons if you are ill.

Cancellations

We at Kinni Valley Academy invest countless hours everyday coordinating high quality, affordable, size-limited riding lessons with superior instructors and horses. This involves coordinating facility availability, instructor schedules, horse assignments, and student schedules. Once we schedule your lessons, our expenses remain the same whether you attend your lesson or not. For this reason we are unable to refund or make-up a cancelled class period due to student absences.

Weather Cancellation Policy

Kinni Valley Academy will not refund or make-up a cancelled class period due to inclement weather.

For students under 18 years of age, one adult responsible for the child is required to be accessible during the lesson in case of emergency or illness. Observers are welcome to enjoy the lessons from our observation room/office. For safety purposes, we ask that only students, instructors and translators be allowed in the arena during lessons.

Securing Your Reservation in Upcoming Sessions

Just as with other sports of skill, learning to ride is an on-going process. We do not expect that you will become a rider, especially a proficient rider, in seven weeks. In order to advance, a student needs practice and instruction steadily over time. Pre-registration is two weeks prior to the beginning of each new session. In order to secure your placement in the upcoming session, students are asked to make payment prior to this commitment date. After the pre-registration date, openings will be offered to students on the waiting list.

Refunds

Our policy at the Academy is that we offer small sessions of lessons that are scheduled out ahead of time. We do not offer refunds for missed lessons or to students who decide to discontinue their lessons. We are committed to offering you exceptional value in your lessons and will do our best to help you enjoy them.
